Colby and Brian are the co-creators of this popular segment, which runs in 8-to-12 week stretches on the award winning news magazine show Eight Forty Eight on Chicago Public Radio (WBEZ, 91.5 FM). The show features local musicians performing their own arrangements of famous cover songs. Colby and Brian choose the performers for each installment and engineer and produce each session. Colby serves as the on-air guide for the series.

Colby and Brian are proud to have contributed original music to Barack Obama’s historic campaign. Long before Obama was elected president, or was even a frontrunner for the Democratic Party’s nomination, Brian and Colby were writing and producing original music clips to accompany the web spots that were a hallmark of Obama’s trailblazing campaign.
